Electrical work across Czechia

An electrician who is actually licensed

In Czechia, only a person certified under Decree 250/2021 Coll. may work on electrical installations. Tell us what you need — we reply within 24 hours and arrange someone who holds that certification.

  • Inspection report included
  • Price agreed before the work
  • Free to request

Full rewiring

Aluminium wiring from the 1980s, two breakers for a whole flat, no earthing. Replacement with copper, new circuits, inspection report.

Switchboard and breakers

Replacing an old consumer unit, adding an RCD or surge protection. Required if you are adding an induction hob, heat pump or EV charger.

Sockets and lighting

Extra kitchen circuit, outdoor socket, moving switches after a renovation. Small jobs that larger firms have no time for.

Electrical inspection

Initial inspection after new work, periodic inspection for a building or company, inspection before selling a property. With a report insurers accept.

EV charger and solar

Supply line for a wallbox, protection, inverter connection. The electrician checks whether your existing supply has enough capacity.

Faults and emergencies

Tripping breaker, short circuit, dead circuit, burning smell from the switchboard. Write what is happening — for emergencies we call back right away.

Three steps, no registration.

  1. 1

    Describe the job

A few sentences and your town is enough. A photo of the switchboard helps estimate the scope before anyone drives out.

  2. 2

    We reply within 24 hours

We call, ask for details and arrange an electrician certified for this type of work who has capacity.

  3. 3

    You get the price first

The electrician contacts you and arranges a survey or a date. The contract and payment are directly between you and them.

Typical ranges in Czechia in 2026. The exact price comes from the electrician after a survey — with electrical work it cannot honestly be promised remotely.

What needs doing?

Write it in your own words, in English or Czech. We reply within 24 hours — emergencies right away.

What does it cost me? Where is the catch?

Nothing. The request is free and non-binding for you. The electrician pays us a commission for the introduction. You agree the price and the contract directly with them.

Does the electrician need a licence?

Yes. Only a person qualified under Decree 250/2021 Coll. may work on electrical installations in Czechia, and only an inspector certified by TIČR may issue an inspection report. Work done by an uncertified person can void your insurance if a fire occurs.

Do I need an inspection report after a renovation?

After new or substantially altered wiring, yes. The distribution operator requires it for connection, the building authority for approval, and the insurer if you make a claim. Getting it retroactively is harder and usually costs more.

Do you work outside Prague?

Yes, we take requests from the whole country. In smaller towns arranging someone can take longer than a day — we will always tell you where things stand rather than leaving you waiting.

Can I communicate in English?

With us, yes. We will tell the electrician in advance that you prefer English and match you with someone who can handle it, or we translate the key points ourselves.
